Unlimited term time travel

During the specified travel period, you can travel between your chosen stations at any time, including evenings, weekends, and school holidays.

You're covered

Student Season Tickets cover you for the entire term, so there's no risk of a fine. Just make sure you have it with you when you travel.

Hassle free

No need to buy tickets every day. Avoid the queues and travel with peace of mind knowing you already have a ticket to ride.

First check that your journey is covered by London Northwestern Railway or West Midlands Railway .

If travelling to or from Birmingham New Street, Snow Hill, or Moor Street, select “Birmingham Stations.”

Tickets are not available for journeys from Bushey or Harrow & Wealdstone to London Euston, as these routes fall entirely within the London Zonal travel area (fares set by London Overground/ATOC).

Tip: Try switching the origin and destination stations — this can sometimes resolve the issue.

If your route still doesn’t appear, email [email protected] with the subject line ‘Missing Route’, including both origin and destination stations.

We aim to deliver tickets within 5 working days, but this cannot be guaranteed. Delivery times depend on Royal Mail and other external factors outside our control.

Please make sure you order in advance so your ticket arrives before your travel window opens.

If your season ticket hasn’t arrived within the stated delivery timeframe (as explained in the above FAQ) then please:

  • Check the delivery address on your order.
  • Check communal or shared areas (especially in student accommodation).
  • Check with your local Post Office.

If you have done all the above and still haven’t received your ticket, email [email protected] with the subject line “Missing Order” and include your Order ID.

Yes - you’ll need both a photocard and student ID (if applicable) when travelling with a Student Season Ticket.

If you don’t have a photocard yet, don’t worry - you can request one during checkout. Simply upload a clear, passport-style professional colour photo, and we’ll handle the rest.

No — your Photocard does not need replacing each term.

Unlike your Student Season Ticket, your Photocard stays the same and only needs replacing if it is lost or if you move from a child Photocard (15 and under) to an adult Photocard (16 and over).

Your Photocard includes your unique ID number, which we use to issue your termly Student Season Tickets.

Please keep your Photocard safe at the end of each term — don’t throw it away, as you’ll need it again for your next ticket.

Yes – your ticket is valid for travel at any time between your two chosen stations during the specified travel window for that term. This includes evenings, weekends, and school holidays.

  • Select Adult if you’re 16 or over.
  • Select Child if you’re 15 or under.

N.B. If you’re 15 when you purchase the Season Ticket but turn 16 while it’s still valid, you can still select a Child ticket.

Not yet – Student Season Tickets are currently paper only, but we’re exploring digital options for the future.

We are operating a trial hub at Five Ways Station ticket office to support students whose tickets may have stopped working at the gate line. Please take your existing ticket and photo ID to the station, where a replacement can be issued onsite.

If you are unable to visit Five Ways Station, please email the team at [email protected] with “Replacement” in the subject line, and your request will be processed.

Please log in to the Student Ticketing Portal to request a replacement.

  • Lost or stolen tickets – a £10 administration fee may apply.
  • While waiting for your replacement, you’ll need to purchase standard tickets for travel.
  • Keep all tickets and receipts, as you may be able to claim these costs back.
  • Reimbursement is considered on a case‑by‑case basis.

If your Student Season Ticket hasn’t arrived within the specified timeframe, we may be able to reimburse additional travel costs. However, this is handled case by case, and reimbursement is not always possible — especially if delays are due to factors outside our control.

We always recommend purchasing your Student Season Ticket well in advance to avoid this situation.

If your ticket has not arrived within five working days of placing your order, please email [email protected] with the subject line “Missing Order” and include your Order ID.

To request a refund, email [email protected]

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis and can only be issued from the date we receive your physical ticket. A £10 administration fee applies.

Email [email protected] and include:

  • Full name of purchaser
  • Name of ticket user (if different)
  • Booking reference
  • Photo ID number (if known)

Whether you’re commuting to college daily or travelling to university a few times a week, having the right ticket can make a huge difference to your budget.
